Except of help in target countries, SAVIO realizes also different activities in developing education. The aim is to provide information (especially to children and young people) about poor countries in the world. It is also important to form their attitudes, to build solidarity and responsibility for lives of other people.

The focus of the project that lasted from July 2009 till September 2010 was the touring exhibition. It was accompanied by discussions, creative workshops, presentations, or by other activities of developing education that were realized in cooperation with participating schools or organizations. Ten boards with photographs from Angola, Kenya, Sudan and also from Azerbaijan and Siberia together with short stories informed the visitors about the conditions and way of life in these countries. Colourful narrative and own experience of thirty developing aid volunteers attracted people to 55 events - discussions and creative workshops.

Till December 2010 the exhibition took place in 25 primary and secondary schools, 5 youth centres and three more venues around Slovakia. It has been visited by children and young people in Bratislava, Trnava, Podolie, Partizánske, Banská Bystrica, Žilina, Rožňava, Košice, Zvolen, Kokava nad Rimavicou, Želiezovce, Poprad, Michalovce, Sobrance, Humenne, Stropkov Prešov, Levoča and in

Liptovský Mikuláš. Because of great interest SAVIO decided to continue the exhibition also after official termination of the project.

The project was accompanied by a CD with texts and pictures related to developing education that was distributed to primary and secondary schools and youth centres.

Here you can see pictures from some activities.

The project Creation of attitudes and opinions of children and youth to developing aid was realized with support of Slovak Aid (Slovak official developing aid).
