Again this month, our promising volunteers met for the third-weekend meeting full of useful and interesting mission-related topics. As usual, within three blocks, they got acquainted with the history of the missions and discussed the question of how and whether to do missions at all nowadays. However, this time the program was also enriched with fun evening games together with the organization VIDES, thanks to which young people can also get on shorter missions in Roma settlements in Slovakia and other countries in Europe.
The experiences, joys, and sorrows of their mission were presented to us by volunteers Mária, Magdalénka, and Baška, who spent a year on a mission in Tanzania in the small town of Didia. The experiences were really worth it, we also saw a few African dance steps and learned how garbage is burned in this African country.
