Our colleague travelled to Kenya to work with a Salesian development organization Don Bosco Development Outreach Network as part of the Capacity Building in Fundraising project at the end of March. During four months he will train local staff in fundraising, program the Salesforce database and together they will organize a pilot fundraising campaign. The project, divided into three phases, will give our Kenyan partner the ability to independently create online campaigns, use effective fundraising tools and increase their fundraising capacity for projects aimed at supporting poor youth in Kenya.

 On this four-month journey, he also travelled with his family and we hope that during their time in Kenya, they will have many opportunities to experience the local culture and other projects we run in the capital city of Nairobi in partnership with the Salesians of Don Bosco to support youth. We keep our fingers crossed for them and wish them good health!
