Thanks to you, a „small“ miracle happens every year, helping children and young people in developing countries from Africa, through Asia, to South America, where we have moved this year.
🧱 TEHLIČKA 2025 aims to support the mission in San Lorenzo, Ecuador. Here, the Salesians are dedicated to the poor Afro-Ecuadorian community, descendants of former slaves who have lived in discrimination and poverty for many years. Escaping this cycle is very difficult, and in most cases, impossible.
Together with you, we want to build a space that will serve young people for vocational training courses and support them in starting their own businesses in an area with minimal prospects for earning an honest living. The assistance also includes psychosocial support for Ecuadorian families and educational and leisure activities for children living on the streets of San Lorenzo.
The motto of Tehlička for Ecuador is „FROM THE STREET TO THE CLASSROOM.“
