2008 ANGOLA AND AZERBAIJAN

The collection took place in 90 towns and villages across Slovakia. Approximately 50 youth-organization centres and around 140 kindergartens, primary and secondary schools took part. Individual donors joined in as well. The campaign was a success not only among children and young people at schools and centres, but a number of teachers and company employees got involved too. Thanks to this project we managed to grow the number of collectors by a third compared to the previous year and reach roughly 50,000 people. The total proceeds of the collection came to EUR 32,954.67. They were allocated to social-development projects in Angola and Azerbaijan.
