2014 ANGOLA: KALA-KALA

148 kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and almost 25 youth and other organizations in villages and towns throughout Slovakia took part in the public collection. SAVIO o. z. volunteers prepared accompanying activities and materials for them. The general public was able to take part by donating online via www.tehlicka.sk, by sending a DMS, or by depositing or transferring a financial gift to the bank account.

The gross proceeds of the collection amount to €86,520.74. The cost of running the collection narrowly exceeded 16 percent. The net proceeds of €72,626.20 were sent on 19 August 2014 to the account of the project partners, the Salesians of Don Bosco, to support activities, the educational programme and the completion of the centre for street children in Kala-Kala.
