Another weekend with our volunteers is behind us — volunteers who are continuing the process of discerning whether to commit to mission. During the weekend meeting in Slavnica, we explored volunteer motivations — how to recognise and work with the unhealthy ones, how to overcome those that are insufficient, and how to transform them into healthy motivations.

What are the pillars of Salesian missionary volunteering, and how does cooperation between the Salesians and our civic association work? How are the stories of the boys from Bosco Boys in Nairobi changing? That was presented to us by the weekend’s guests — former volunteers Kristián and Dominika — together with our chairman and missionary delegate, Jano.
