With a contribution of €15,000, we supported regular activities with children and young people — above all those from socially disadvantaged families — in the villages around Aldan (Chatystyr, Ugajan, Tommot) as part of non-formal education and leisure activities. The funds were used mainly to cover transport for the regular field trips. This is a long-term project.

Further goals:

• regular work in the youth centres in the surrounding villages near Aldan
• developing social conditions in the local communities
• active involvement of young local people in regular work with children, young people and adults
• building a system of values among children and young people
• acquiring life skills (e.g. communication, professional, practical)
• strengthening morality and ethics
• education in civic responsibility
