2010 ALDAN: SUMMER CAMPS

With a contribution of €2,000, we supported summer holiday activities for around 50 children from socially disadvantaged families in the villages around Aldan (Chatystyr, Ugajan). The funds were used for travel, accommodation, food and supplies. The project is repeated every year.

Project goal:

developing life skills
building cultural values
development of social conditions in the local community
building a system of values among children and young people
active involvement of the local population in non-formal education
a culmination of the regular work with children and young people

Achieved results:

development of life skills — teamwork, independence, flexibility, creativity
self-confidence, friendship, consideration for others, communication
healthy use of free time
taking on a system of values
impact on the development of social conditions in the local community
