The gross proceeds of the collection amount to €114,675.53. The cost of running the collection was 15.48 percent. The net proceeds of €96,924.98, earmarked to support activities, an educational programme and the reconstruction of centres for children in Bangui and Galabadja in the Central African Republic (CAR), and also to fund monitoring trips for the supported projects from Yaoundé, Cameroon, were sent to the account of the project partners — the local Salesians of Don Bosco — in the following way:

The collection directly involved more than 148 kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and almost 25 youth and other organizations in villages and towns throughout Slovakia. All participating schools and organizations were sent promotional and background materials, which were used not only for the collection campaign but also as a basis for education and awareness-raising in the area of development aid. As part of the collection, with our consent, schools carried out their own activities that served its purpose.
