The 20th edition of the Tehlička public collection for 2025 was registered by the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic in the register of public collections under registration number 000-2024-046150.
The Tehlička 2025 public collection was closed on 30 June 2025.
The gross proceeds of the collection amount to 96,991.57 EUR. The costs of running the collection were 24.96 percent. Net proceeds reached 72,786.10 EUR.

Who did TEHLIČKA 2025 help?
The proceeds from the TEHLIČKA 2025 public collection were used to build a Salesian centre for street children and young people from extremely poor backgrounds at the mission in San Lorenzo, where they are surrounded every day by pervasive poverty and violence. We supported the running of vocational training courses, helped young people start their own businesses, and provided psychosocial support for children and families from extremely poor backgrounds in San Lorenzo, Ecuador.
The mission is made up mainly of Afro-Ecuadorians, descendants of former slaves, who have for many years lived with discrimination and poverty that is very difficult — and in most cases impossible — to escape. The Salesian centre in San Lorenzo aims to build a space that will serve young people for vocational-training courses and at the same time support them in starting their own businesses in an area where the prospects of earning an honest living are minimal. In addition, it will provide psychosocial support to Ecuadorian families and educational and leisure activities for children living on the streets of the mission, which is among the poorest areas of Ecuador.
A total of 89 entities took part directly in the collection — 55 kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, 21 SDB youth centres and other communities, 11 parishes, as well as 1 company and 1 civic association in towns and villages across Slovakia.
All participants received promotional and background materials that served not only for the collection campaign but also as resources for education in the field of development cooperation. As part of the collection, schools carried out their own activities — with our agreement — that served its purpose.
